Because there are SO many different types of e-readers, we’re sending your book as a .pdf file. Because of the interactivity and the amazing illustrations, we’re sending you the pdf so you can always view the pages the same way as you would a real book – (the technical term for this is as a ‘double-page spread’). We’ve chosen a .pdf so you’ll be able to open it on most e-readers including phones, tablets and computers!

Sure… But that’s really not what we created the digital books for – so you’ll probably find the resolution (i.e. how sharp and awesome the images look) is a little low. This is because the high-resolution files we send to the printer are MASSIVE file sizes – and well, we just wouldn’t want to do that to you!
Absolutely! We would encourage it! Once you’ve ordered your book, we get busy generating the personalised product and once it’s ready, we’ll send a link to your email. You can expect to receive this within a couple of hours – or, if we’re super busy 24 hours at most!
The link in your email takes you to a special place on our server where the .pdf of your digital book lives. We’d love you to download it from there.
The .pdf download doesn’t have an expiry, a password or any other trickery so keep it somewhere on file and you’ll have it forever.
The link itself won’t expire for quite some time (around a year) – and yes, in the meantime you can send that link on to other family members so your kid can have access to their digital book where-ever they are.
